Vocational Services

Purposeful, Productive Work in a Positive Environment

  • Wages start at $10.50 per hour! Other benefits include free dental insurance and a monthly attendance bonus.
  • Flexible work schedules are available to meet the individual needs of each participant.
  • Weekly pay schedule and optional direct deposit simplify budgeting and provide timely enforcement for participants.
  • Job Coaching and social support is provided by trained, experienced professionals.
  • Onsite seminars on applicable topics like nutrition, health, emotional regulation and more are provided on a regular basis.
  • Every VA (Vocational Associate) has the opportunity to have a work email address for in-house communication. Hands on training is provided for email communication, attachments, announcements, and much more.
  • Offer a variety of ways for our VA’s to connect to our community through enclaves, volunteer work, advocacy, conferences, giving back opportunities, and presentations.

We believe in a Brain Injury Clubhouse frame of reference by eliminating a hierarchy in our program by offering opportunities for VA leadership roles in program development, training, and decision making. We value the importance of seeing the impact of change from an individual’s voice.

We offer a diverse option of groups to develop teamwork skills in a safe, controlled environment that is overseen by Occupational Therapists. Some examples of groups and classes include but not limited to:

  • Graphic Design
  • Social media
  • Store meetings
  • Introduction to computers
  • Meditation
  • Yoga
  • Planning
  • Recovery
  • Meal planning, meal prep, cooking and food service
  • Writing
  • Video Production
  • SWAG (We make our own merchandise!)
  • Creative Groups
